New Scorn Gameplay Trailer – Out Now!

A new fifteen minute gameplay trailer was released last night for Scorn, a first person shooter horror game developed by Ebb Software. Scorn was announced 6 years ago in 2014, and is set to come to the Xbox Series X/S, and the Windows Store in 2021.

The trailer really put me on the edge of my seat, although the gameplay seems to drag on a bit and is not all that exciting all the time, the atmosphere is incredibly anxiety inducing. I can already imagine myself edging around the dingy labyrinthine corridors at a snails pace, too scared to face what’s lurking just around the other corner.

Check out the gameplay trailer below:

Scorn is a game that has completely flew under my radar. Upon seeing the news of the new trailer, to me it just looked similar to Agony, a game that had a lot of hype but ultimately left most disappointed. Upon closer inspection and sitting through the video I can safely say I want to play it, it seems to offer a lot more. As it’s coming to Gamepass, there’s no reason not to give it a try, even if I will be too scared to complete it!

Also, seeing that the game is inspired by the incredible late Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński only makes me want to play the game more. If you haven’t seen any of his work and are interested in the baroque/gothic style I would highly recommend you to go have a look, I’ve never seen anything like it.
