October sales in US for Nintendo Switch the second best in history

It is no surprise here that we are huge fans and believers of the Nintendo Switch. Read one of our early editorials to discover our love of the console. Recently it has also been revealed that the Switch shows no plans of slowing down, with releases like Breath of the Wild 2 on the way.

In October of this year, the Nintendo Switch outsold all the competitors in the US, selling 735,000 units. That is a huge amount of sales, and in the US alone. The only console to ever sell more units than this in the month of October is the Nintendo Wii. It is also reported that the Switch has sold a total of around 22 million units in the US, making up almost one-third of units-sold.

This is great news for Nintendo – even with the new consoles on their way, people still want to spend their pennies on the Switch. Many people see it as a secondary console to a degree, myself included. But they are continually holding their own in terms of sales and games.

Congratulations Nintendo, I am looking forward to you outselling them all.
