Today sees the release of a new trailer for Psycho Wolf, an indie stealth game published by Ultimate Games S.A. The game is set for release on November 20, with a Nintendo Switch edition planned for 2021. The Switch kind of looks like the right platform for this, as it seems to have a more pick up and play vibe.
Check out the trailer below:
The first two things I notice is that the music sounds really peppy, could get quite repetitive though if that’s the only one in the game. And the other is that it looks astonishingly like Don’t Starve, art style wise.
It looks like the whole goal of the game is to steal from all the other animals (huffing and puffing), in order to improve your own house. You’ll be able to sneak around by travelling in a bush you’ve crafted, or simply run up to someone and bash their head in with an axe, it’s your choice.
What do you think of Psycho Wolf? To me it looks a tad shallow, not much there to keep you playing, but we’ll have to wait and see! If you like the look of it, why not preorder it on Steam here!
